If you find yourself in Converse with your four-legged buddy and you need to visit a park in the vicinity, you won't want to miss Phil Hardberger Dog Park. The park is located approximately 16 miles west of Converse and offers everything your pup needs. This clean, well-maintained park has a separate small dog area. Both of the areas for small and large dogs have lots of trees, which provide decent shade. The park provides plenty of poop bags and trash station so you can easily clean up after your pup. Drinking water and a rinse station are also available.

Around 26 miles away from Converse is another park that is suitable for pawesome adventures for your pup. Pearsall Dog Park is an off-leash, fenced park located in Houston's Hidden Cove/Indian Creek neighborhood. Nestled between San Antonio's River Road and Westfort Neighborhoods is Brackenridge Park, just north of downtown.
