There are clearly marked trails that you can take your dog on, or he can play off-leash in one of the fenced in areas. He can run and play with all his fur buddies while you sit on one of the benches in the shade. When you are all done, just stop by for a quick rinse before getting in the car.

You definitely need to make the 35-mile trek over to Comanche Lookout Park. There is a 4.5-mile trail that leads up a nice elevation so that you can get a good look at the area. The lookout tower is a great hideaway, complete with historical markers. There are tons of spots to explore here. You can even take your mini human to run and play on the playground. This is an on-leash park, and a great family-friendly place. You are sure to see lots of other fur friends all through the park, so get out there and find some new playmates for Fido!
