Battle Creek
Battle Creek was the original name of Pleasant Grove, and it now refers to a neighborhood nestled in the southeast corner of the city. Despite its name, it is one of the most peaceful locations in the area for a walk outside with your dog. One of the highlights of this neighborhood is Hill Park. It is located on the east side of the neighborhood, and it has a long walking path with a great view of the mountains, benches, a pavilion, and a large, open lawn. Kiwanis Park nearby is another place you might want to check out. While it is small and not as developed as Hill Park, it does have some nice trails and it can be a good spot for a meditative walk through nature.

1st Ward
1st Ward is a large neighborhood in Pleasant Grove centered around North Union Canal, and it is known for its friendly community and nice parks. There are two parks here you might want to visit with your canine companion for a breath of the fresh Utah air that attracts so many people to this area. The first is Anderson Park. It is a medium-sized park complete with a walking path, picnic benches, and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Battle Creek Park is southwest of First Ward, and it is another park that provides a great spot for an on-leash walk with your dog.

Timpanogos
Timpanogos rests in north-central Pleasant Grove, and it is a welcoming neighborhood with picturesque vistas and well-maintained parks. Consider stopping by if you’re in the mood for some fresh air and good company. You and your pooch can stretch your legs in Manila Park on the neighborhood’s north side. The park has a nice playground and athletic fields, all surrounded by a paved path that you can walk on with your pooch. Nearby Mahogany Park is another waypoint you’ll want to visit. It has walking paths, benches, and also a picnic pavilion. Both parks overlook the nearby snow-capped mountains, and the sight is sure to take your breath away!

Old Lindon
The Lindon neighborhood of Old Lindon borders Pleasant Grove to the south, and it's a real mutts-visit if you are traveling through the area with your dog. A good place to start exploring the neighborhood is Pheasant Brook Park. This park has a nice playground, well-kept fields, restroom facilities, and a covered pavilion. There is a walking path that you can use for a stroll with your dog. Head closer to the heart of the city and you’ll find Lindon City Park. Located on Main Street this park is another great place to take in the fresh mountain air with your furry friend.

Pacific Drive
American Fork lies to the northwest of Pleasant Grove, and it's definitely a place you should consider visiting with your dog if you are looking for a bite to eat. There are many restaurants in American Fork's Pacific Drive neighborhood that offer dog-friendly seating at their outdoor tables, so you can be sure to find something you like. For a delicious and exotic meal try Rumbi Island Grill, a Hawaiian-themed restaurant with noodles, burgers and more. And of course, you'll find some fast food options in the area with outdoor seating for your buddy, including Tex Mex and all-American hamburgers
