    #1 Eastview Heights

    48

Located just 30 minutes from Mazomanie, and surrounded by over 100 acres of parks and ponds, Eastview Heights has plenty to offer the whole family. Of course, that includes your furry friends too! But the best part of this already great neighborhood is its proximity to two great dog parks! Badger Prairie Dog Park has nine acres of fenced, off-leashed goodness that your pup is sure to enjoy! It’s surrounded by a gravel path, but it has tons of green space for when Fido wants to play fetch. If you’d like an even bigger park, Prairie Moraine Park has several different paths for you to explore with your dog, along with lots of hills and green space.

    #2 Morton Forest

When it comes to seeing pawsitively beautiful sights in Mazomanie, you won’t find anything much better than Morton Forest Park! Established in 2016 when the land was donated by a generous Wisconsin resident, it is one of Wisconsin’s newest parks. With over 114 acres of lush land, this is a great place to hike with your pup! There are different paths you can take and two vistas that offer stunning scenery of the hills and valleys of the Wisconsin countryside. While the trails in Morton Forest aren’t incredibly long, some hikers find them very steep, so make sure you bring plenty of water to keep you and your pooch hydrated!

    #3 Town of Berry

This neighborhood is just an 11-minute drive from central Mazomanie. It’s home to Indian Lake County Park, a family and dog-friendly park with 442 acres and a 6.4-mile trail for two-legged and four-legged creatures alike! You can take a winding trail up to a chapel built in 1857, and once you are there, you will be met with breathtaking views of Indian Lake. Dogs must be kept on a leash in most areas of the park, but there is a pet exercise area at the west entrance of the park where Rover can let loose! The park is open year-round and also features cross-country skiing trails and a log cabin warming house.
