Carson Beach

If you feel the warm Boston breezes calling your name, it just might be time to hit the beach! Why not consider a trip to Beantown's Carson Beach today? You and your best canine pal are bound to have a barking great time! This South Boston pawblic beach welcomes your doggo to join you on their sandy shores from Labor Day through Memorial Day each year. Swimming is not recommended at this seaside retreat for people or pooches, and when perusing the white sand coast, your pup must remain on a lead at all times.

You will find there is lots of pawrking available in the on-site lot at Carson Beach, so you won't need to arrive early to find the pawrfect spot. Bathrooms are available on the grounds for the pawblic to use, and there is even a rinse station where you can hose out some of the sand from Fido's coat after his day of beach fun.

Carson Beach is a pawpular spot for South Boston residents and their best canine pals. The sandy shores are a furrific spot to take a dog walk along the edge of the water, or even to hunt for sea glass to take home as a memento of your pawsome beach adventure. If you fancy a little snack, there is a nearby concession stand selling food and drinks, or you could pack a light lunch or treat from home to share with Fido and the whole fam. Don't forget to bring along some drinking water and cleanup bags!

Other fun things to do at Carson Beach include sunbathing, building sandcastles, or playing beach volleyball. Whatever you decide to do, Fido is welcome to tag along and join in!
