There is very limited parking at Islanders Beach, so you'll want to make sure you head to the beach early to avoid the rush! Parking is available at a cost of 0.25 cents per 15 minutes, or $1.00 per hour.
With so many pawsitively awesome things to do at Islanders Beach, you won't know where to start! You can scuba and snorkel when the weather conditions are just right, but if a swim is what you fancy, you can bring Fido along to practice his best doggy paddle. The warm waters are most inviting, but during low tide, many jellyfish can wash up on the shore.
This beach is the pawrfect spot for people and their pooches who love to walk. There are also many bike racks housed on the property for those who prefer a different form of beach transportation. Don't forget to pack a lunch, so Fido and the fam can enjoy a picnic while taking in the pawrific scenery at Islanders Beach. Drinking water is available should Fido need to quench his thirst. There are also bathrooms and outdoor showers for pawblic use. If your best canine pal had a little too much fun digging in the sand, you can hose him off before heading back home. Be sure to pack some clean up bags in your beach essentials kit.
Hours are seasonal on this beach. Winter hours are from 6 AM to 6 PM. While in summer, the beach is open from 6 AM to 9 PM, dogs are not permitted on the beach between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM.
