Description
For a day of fun in the sun that you'll not soon forget, bring Fido and the fam to spend the day at Kuliouou Beach Park. It's a pawsitively awesome spot for a day's getaway. This beach is a favorite seaside haven of the locals who visit frequently to enjoy picnics, fishing, and just getting in some R&R. The beach itself is situated in an area known as Hawaii Kai. There is lots of on-site pawrking available, so you won't have any difficult finding a spot.

You and your pooch will have a barking great time exploring this pawsome beach, but please keep Fido on a lead at all times. Doggos are allowed on the beach below the high tide line, or from the line of debris to the ocean, and in the water too!

When it comes to pawrific things to do, this furrific beach has got it all! There are lots of grass areas where you can take your best canine pal for a leisurely stroll. The sandy shores of Kuliouou Beach Park are quite spacious, giving you lots of opportunity for you and your pooch to meander along the coast in search of treasures.

The water is quite shallow and murky at this beach. The reef runs along the shallowest portion, making it difficult to do much swimming. Sharks are also attracted to this type of water, so if you and your pooch do decide to take the plunge, be sure to stay near to the coastline for safety.

The scenery viewed from the shore is absolutely pawtacular! You will want to have a camera along to capture some photos of the Kuliouou Mountains, for sure!

To the right of the beach, you will find Paiko Lagoon and a wildlife sanctuary. The left side of the beach offers you the chance to check out the Koko Crater and Koko Head.

Other woofderful things to do at Kuliouou Beach Park include kayaking and fishing. The reef is a great place for collecting mussels, so bring along a bag to grab a few to enjoy. There are lots of picnic tables on site and even some grills where you can cook up your next great culinary delight. Bring along something to throw on the grill, as well as some drinking water and cleanup sacks.

If a day of R&R at a beautiful Oahu beach sounds like paradise, plan your trip to Kuliouou Beach Park today. You'll have a pawtastic time!
