Cross Creek Camping Resort

Looking for a place to recharge your batteries in central Ohio? Then look no further than the Cross Creek Camping Resort in Delaware! This two-time ARVC National Park of the Year award winner offers fun and relaxation for the whole family. That includes your furry members too, so there’s no need to leave Fido behind!

Located just 20 minutes north of Columbus, Cross Creek has 200 camping sites where you can park your RV or pitch your tent. The resort also offers cabin and trailer rentals, but these are off-limits to four-legged guests, so you’ll have to bring your own camper or tent if your pooch is tagging along. Primitive camping starts at $35 per day, while RV camping starts at $45 per day, and all prices include access to a number of activities. For your canine companion, be sure to hit the hiking trails and let them enjoy some off-leash time in the dog run. 

Except for when they’re in the dog run, pups must be on a leash at all times. Unattended dogs and dogs in buildings, recreation areas, or the pool area are also not allowed, so make sure that someone from your party is watching Fido if you decide to take the kids to the playground or join karaoke night. And as always, clean up after your furry pal immediately! 

If your social barkterfly would like to make new friends while they’re in town, the Friends of Alum Creek Dog Park is only a bone’s throw away from the campground. This pawpular canine hangout is open to the public and features fenced-in play areas and water areas, giving dogs plenty of opportunities to blow off steam. Cross Creek is also just a short drive from Polaris Fashion Place and more than 100 restaurants in nearby Columbus.
