Lazy River At Granville Campground

Hidden away in a green, grassy valley of the Welsh Hills in Granville, Ohio, you will discover your family’s next favorite holiday destination -- the Lazy River at Granville Campground, an amenity-laden haven that is meticulously maintained with incredibly friendly hosts that will make you feel right at home. With splash pads, mini-golf, zip lines, laser tag, pedal carts, and numerous playgrounds, this outdoor wonderland is the perfect place for an overdue family trip or get-together. The campground offers tent and RV camping and has several lodges and cabins for rent. It is not only family-oriented but also dog-friendly, with an on-site dog park and pet-friendly rentals. 

The highly-rated campground sits approximately 25 miles away from Columbus, Ohio by a pristine creek that runs throughout the grounds. Surrounded by wooded hiking trails and hardwoods that cast a good amount of shade, it is a peaceful location for quality family time, regardless if you are staying overnight or enjoying the facilities on a day pass. The day pass is $8 per adult and $3 per child above the age of 5, while seniors and kids under four can take advantage of the amenities for free. This includes the fitness center, two swimming pools, BMX track, and basketball court, to name a few. 

The campground features primitive tent sites and full-service RV sites with water, electricity, sewage, and cable. All of the sites come with picnic tables, and campfire rings that you can use to grill s’mores and hot dogs. There are several lodges and cabins available for rent, including seven pet-friendly ones. Laundry facilities, two restrooms with hot showers and flush toilets and a dump station are also available on-site. Sites start at $29 per night while cabins start at $70 per night and have an additional fee of $10 per pet per night. 

Since there are countless attractions for kids, parents will have the opportunity to rest and enjoy the quiet (away from any freeways!), fresh air and scenic nature that fills the camp’s grounds. Plus, your furry babies will have a doggone good time as well at the leash-free dog park equipped with trash receptacles and a dog waste bag station. With lots of grassy room to run, your four-pawed pal can exercise, socialize and play with other furry campers.
