This park does have a rather large amount of amenities available. The full park spans about 8 acres. Your canine is allowed throughout much of the park, though the off-leash section is clearly marked. Throughout the remainder of the park, your canine is not allowed on any sports fields or inside of any of the facilities. Waste disposal bags are available throughout the park so you can clean up after your canine and easily dispose of the waste.
There is plenty of shade provided, both by a pavilion as well as the abundant trees that line the park. Picnic tables are available, as are restrooms. Water is available at these restrooms and other facilities throughout the park; however, for your canine, you would need to bring your own dog bowl.
A generous donation from the Kraft family, as well as the National Football Association, paid for a recent remodeling of the park and an installation of astroturf throughout the football field and a reconstruction of the track surrounding. Unfortunately your canine is not allowed on the track even with a leash, however, there are plenty of walking and running trails surrounding the park.Â
Overall, this park is an amazing place for you to bring your whole family including your canine friend, just remember that the off-leash allowances require you to do so before 1 PM. After that time there are no canines allowed off-leash. Canines who run will have a large area to do so, but they must remain in sight and under voice control at all times.
