The Rob Stuart Memorial Dog Park is a pawpular place to hang out for people and pups of the Logan Square neighborhood in Philly. This little strip of a park is just 0.78 acres, and spans one entire block along Winter Street just east of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and next to the famous Logan Square Park. While there are tons of parks and walking trails in this area, for off-leash adventure, this is the spot to be!Â
The dog park features two separate fenced-in runs, so that the big dogs and little guys can play safely. The park is surfaced in clean, synthetic dog turf that your pup can tear around on without getting dirty. Thirsty pups can make use of the dog water fountains in the play areas, and benches are on site for pet parents to kick back and enjoy the playtime entertainment.Â
Do note that the dog park also runs next to a busy highway, so pups who may get nervous from loud noises may need to visit during less busy times. Training your dog to ignore loud noises before heading to this dog play space may also be helpful.
You’ll be able to find plenty of parking along Winter Street, and there are restrooms in the adjacent children’s park if necessary. Be sure to follow proper dog park pettiquette by always watching your dog and cleaning up after them. Don’t forget the doggy bags! There are no toys allowed in the park to prevent them from bouncing into the highway and causing accidents, but your pup should be able to find plenty of furry friends to play with.Â

If Fido needs to learn some dog park manners, consider booking an in-home dog training session with Wag! before you visit.
