If you are visiting Charleston and are looking for a dog friendly place to stay with your furry friend, check in to the Unique Suites Hotel! This puptastic place welcomes you to bring two pooches of any size to stay and you will only have to pay a small additional fee per night. Of course, no trip is complete without a visit to the Charleston Dog Park! Here your canine can expend some energy off leash in a safe space. There is water available, as well as dog waste bags in case you furgot your own. There is also a picnic table where you can watch your pup and make new furry friends!

When you are out exploring everything that Charleston has to offer with your pup, you are bound to get hungry! When your stomach starts to growl, head on over to Starbucks. This is a pawsome place for grabbing a fresh coffee or tea so that you have the energy to keep up with your furry friend, as well as enjoy a sandwich, bagel, parfait or baked delight. Of course, if your beloved companion has been a good boy or girl, you can order a special Puppuccino for your pooch! There are also outdoor tables here where you can sit and relax and enjoy your food, with your canine by your side. For a run around, head on over to Morton Park! This is a pawsome green spot for your canine, which also features sniff-tastic walking trails for your pup. There is also a ball field, picnic area and pavilion here that you can enjoy.

If you like to try out new dog friendly eateries, then you will love the places that you will find in Charleston! Where you are out and about, one of the best places you can stop at for a bite to eat and refreshment is Jackson Avenue Coffee. Here you can choose from a range of hot and iced tea, as well as dig into some delicious bagels, sandwiches and sweet treats, such as cookies, muffins and sweet rolls. Since Jackson Avenue Coffee is a dog friendly and a furrific place to be, there are three outdoor tables here where you can sit with your food and pup. There are also water bowls provided for your canine. For a walk in the park with your pooch, head to North Park! Here there is 10 acres of land you can explore with your canine, with baseball fields, a skate park, shelter and playground equipment that you can use.

For a pawsome day out with your pooch, head to the Fox Ridge State Park in Charleston! Here you can go exploring and enjoy some exercise with your pup, as there are around eight miles of beautiful and scenic hiking trails. You can enjoy being among nature, and there is plenty of new scents and sights for your furry friend to investigate along the way, as well as the oppawtunity to spot the wildlife, including owls, deer and pheasants. You can camp at Fox Ridge State Park, and fishing is popular since there are largemouth bass and blue gill.

For an adventure, with your canine, be sure to head to the Woodyard Conservation Area with your furry friend! This is a pawsome place for pooches since there is over 206 acres of land that you can explore. In addition to all of that furrific open space and grass, there is sniff-tastic trails that you can investigate, with a river and forest that provide a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. While the trees provide some shade when it is hot and sunny outside, don’t furget to bring some fresh water for your panting pup after all that fun!
