This trail is an old rail line that is part of the Rails-To-Trails program. It is a 6.7-mile hike and the surface of the trail is crushed stone and gravel. This trail will take you through woods, across prairies and provide you with an up-close view of the farming fields, most of which are corn. There is a creek along the trail, and you'll also see many different types of birds along the way. You will need to pack supplies for your journey, such as water and doggy waste bags. The trees will provide shade from the sun. You also can see the some silos and barns along the trail. Try out this trail and see how far you and Fido can get!

South Lake Shore

This dog-friendly neighborhood is located just 9 miles from Hebron, and is home to the Big Foot Beach. There is a certain section of the beach where your pup is allowed to play on the sand and in the water. It is required that your pooch stays on their leash while visiting, though.
