The first destination on your doggy day trip to-do list should, without a doubt, be Lake Shore Drive, where you’ll find the beautiful Lakeshore Path. An expansive paved path that circles the lake, you’re welcome to bring your leashed dog here and get in a nice morning jog or just a casual stroll. The best part of this locale is the scenery, which can’t be beat with a stick (not even that big one your dog found). If it’s just you and Fido, though, don’t worry! There are still plenty of hiking and biking trails for the two of you to explore as long as your pup pal is on his trusty little leash.
