Boothbay Harbor
You have got to try out the pawsome dog friendly eateries when you are in Boothbay Harbor! This includes the Boathouse Bistro where you can tuck into some puptastic seafood, such as lobster mac and cheese, lobster waffles and scallop risotto. Of course, your furry friend is welcome to join you out on the top deck at one of the tables with amazing views of the harbor. The Fisherman’s Wharf is also a furrific place to enjoy lunch or dinner since it serves up delicious wraps, burgers, seafood and sandwiches. There are also outdoor tables where your pup can watch the world go by while you admire the harbour.

Boothbay
For a puptastic day out with your pooch, head to Boothbay! Here you will find the pawsome Boothbay Railway Village, which will be a lot of fun if you like to learn about historic trains and see model railroads. Your furry friend is welcome to explore, as well as jump on board a train with you for a tour of the village! For a hiking adventure, head over to the Ovens Mouth Preserve! This is a beautiful place to enjoy nature, and there are sniff-tastic trails where you can go hiking and admire the scenery with your pup, as well as investigate coves and salt marshes. All companions can be top dog here, as long as he or she remains on leash.

Southport
If you like to try out new restaurants, then you have to head next door to Southport! This pawpsome puptown is home to Robinson’s Wharf, which is a dog friendly restaurant located right on the docks. This means you can get your paws into some delicious and fresh seafood, and enjoy a refreshing drink with amazing views of the harbor. There is also live music that is played on Robinson’s Wharf on weekends, which means you and your pooch can sit back and relax at the outdoor seating picnic tables and enjoy the tunes – bone-a-petit!

Edgecomb
Take a road trip over to the Fort Edgecomb Memorial Park! Only 12 miles from Boothbay Harbor in nearby Edgecomb, this park provides some green space for your pooch to roll and roam freely. Your furry friend can bound around on the grass and investigate, as well as play fetch with his or her favourite ball or Frisbee. There are also plenty of trees that will provide shade on hotter days of the year. Since Fort Edgecomb Memorial Park is quite open, it may be best to keep your companion on his or her leash, unless your doggo has good recall.
Wiscasset
To try new places with your beloved companion, head on over to Wiscasset! This pawsome town is only 13 miles from Boothbay Harbor, and perfect for a food excursion. For some delicious grub, stop by Red’s Eats, which is a furrific eatery that serves up meals such as hamburgers, hotdogs and lobster rolls. Of course, your furry friend is not forgotten about at Red Eats, and there are dog bones and fresh water provided for your pup so he can enjoy something to eat with you on the two dog friendly decks.
