College Park

One of the closest doggie parks to Intercourse can be found around 14 miles away. The spacious park is called Beau's Dream Dog Park, and it's located in Buchanan Park in nearby Lancaster. Small and large dog areas are available, as well as other amenities that make this park one of the best in the area. You can find splash pads, doxi tunnels, a doggie bridge, and even a tennis ball machine that launches tennis balls! The park doesn't forget the dog owners either -- there are plenty of shaded seating areas where pet parents can relax and watch their pooches play. Don't forget to bring doggie waste bags with you.

North Lancaster

Another park where your doggo can run free and meet other furry friends is the Overlook Dog Park. This park is also located in Lancaster, within the spacious Overlook Park. The dog park is fenced, and doggies can roam around off-leash in one of two separate areas for differently sized pups. There is even an area where big and tiny pups can play together if that's their preference! Other than the fact that the park is pawsitively huge, you'll also find all the amenities you'll need here, such as waste baggies and fresh water for your pooch. Membership is required, so bring proof of recent vaccinations.

South Mohnton

Godfrey's Welcome to Dogdom is located around 20 miles from Intercourse, but it's pawfect if you're looking for something different to do with Fido. This place is more than a park -- it's a doggie campus fit for a canine king! Here, you can find a variety of services for dogs, like classes, workshops, programs, and more. Among the other amenities, Godfrey's offers two doggie parks: one for small pooches and another for dogs over 30 lbs. Both areas have water access, pools, and plenty of toys! You will need a membership if you want your pup to enjoy this doggie heaven. 

South West Grove

One more pawssible place for your pup to frolic and get plenty of exercise in the surrounding area of Intercourse is Goddard Park. You can find this park in West Grove, ruffly 23 miles away. The trail at this community park is a great place to walk and explore with your pooch. Or, if you need more exercise, you can choose to let your pup run off-leash at the dog park, which is separated into areas for small and large dogs. Access to portable toilets and a kids' playground is a part of the package as well. The dog run has a water fountain and waste baggies.

Green Hills Preserve

If you're a little more adventurous and feel like you and your pup need a change of scenery, head to Natural Lands Trust's Green Hills Preserve. This preserve is located in Mohnton, around 24 miles away from Intercourse. A huge area of 168 acres will be at your disposal, where you can find wetlands and woodlands enriched with long trails that your pooch will surely enjoy! Around 1.5 miles of trails welcome doggies as long as they are leashed and you respawnsibly clean up their mess. The trails are not very shaded, so avoid visiting the place on very hot days and be sure to bring lots of water.
