Emily walked our dog Banjo Friday night and Saturday morning while we were out of town. She did a phenomenal job taking care of him and keeping us updated, and even cleaned up an accident that he had which we did not anticipate! When you are in Lititz, you have got to visit the Lititz Springs Park with your furry friend! Here there is a sniff-tastic walking path for some exercise that is shaded from the trees, pawsome for hot days. There is also some puptastic amenities here, including a playground for the kids, gazebo, pavilion and volleyball court. If you get hungry, head on over to Tomato Pie Café for a bite to eat. Here you have got to try some of the famous tomato pie, or you can dig into a sandwich or salad. There are tables out on the porch and patio where you can chill out with your pooch.

You and your furry friend can go wandering through rural areas to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as admire the 18th century building that you pass on the way. There are also signs that explain the history so you can learn as you enjoy a leisurely stroll with your canine. As bikes can use the Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail, it may be best to keep your pupper on his or her leash.
