Drumore is a small, rural community in PA, so you may need to drive a bit with your favorite pooch to find some dog-friendly areas. Fortunately, just over 11 miles away is Tanglewood, a neighborhood in Quarryville. This neighborhood has a small-town feel and is a good place to visit if you’re looking for some dog-friendly eateries on the way to Lancaster. Here, you can enjoy Sam’s New York Style Pizza, a local favorite offering some of the best pizzas you’ll find in PA, modeled after authentic New York thin crusts. There are two dog-friendly tables outside for you and your dog to dine at!

Strasburg Boro
A little over 19 miles from Drumore is Strasburg Boro in Strasburg, PA. This is another great spot you may want to stop at if you plan to visit the popular city of Lancaster, PA. Here, you can visit Strasburg Toys & Collectibles, a local toy and hobby store with some of the best, most unique toys around. Your dog is welcome on his leash – or in your arms! – to check out all the fun toys. You can also visit Strasburg Creamery, a place where you and your pooch can try some of the local favorite ice cream flavors. Conestoga Heights
If you travel about 33 minutes north of Drumore, you’ll come to Conestoga Heights in Lancaster, PA. This pup-ular neighborhood in one of the country’s most Amish towns is the home of Drake’s Pet Place, which is more than just a pet supply store. It’s also a grooming center, a self-serve dog bathing place, and it even has play areas indoors and outdoors for your dogs!
