Dog Areas in Pittsburg, CA

Pittsburg, California is part of Contra Costa County, a pawpular area known for its breathtaking mountain views and outdoor activities. Pittsburg is also located around 37 miles northeast of San Francisco, which means the big city isn't too far away when you want more things to do.

If you decide to visit Pittsburg with your pooch in tow, Motel 6 Pittsburg is a great (and budget-friendly!) place to spend the night. You can also check out the Pittsburg Airbnb Rentals, but keep in mind that the different accommodations have different rules, fees, and limits.

If you're looking to chow down with your hound in Pittsburg, you'll find a few Fido-friendly eateries where you can do just that. These include La Veranda, Nation's Giant Hamburgers, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and a few others.

If your pup experiences some health problems or needs treatment, rest easy knowing that your pup will be in good paws in Pittsburg! There's a veterinary and clinic and animal hospital within the city limits.

Bringing children along with you? (Aside from your fur babies, of course.) You'll be happy to know Pittsburg is home to an amusement park called Small World Park. This park doesn't allow children of the furry variety, though. But don't fret just yet; check out Highlands Ranch Park, where you'll find a dog park that's very pawpular with the local dogs.

Pittsburg has plenty for dogs and their owners to do, and its proximity to the muttropolis of San Fran means that dog-friendly fun is very far away!
