About 8.4 miles west of Sarona, you'll find the community of Shell Lake. This lakeside neighborhood includes private residences, the area high school, a health care center, and some businesses. The lakeside facility has RV hook-ups, pull through sites, a public boat landing, and a dock. Dogs are permitted in the campground and park but not the beach area. Beaver Brook is a small rural community located about 3.8 miles north of Sarona. There are private country estates and farms here. Take Spot for a daily walk down wooded roads in the area.
