Hudson’s city center overlooks St. Croix River, and it's where you'll find Lakefront Park, home to multiple seasonal events and concerts. Apart from being a pawpular public place, the park has a well-maintained network of walking trails, which suit perfectly for pawesome strolls with Fido. After a good romp at the park, head to 2nd Street South to relax and unwind at Negret Wine Company. You're welcome to enjoy some wine and cheese at the outdoor tables, and Fido is welcome to pull the puppy dog eyes while he lounges at your feet!

185th Avenue Northwest

185th Avenue stretches throughout the northwestern outskirts of New Richmond, passing St. Croix Correctional Center and bumping into 115th Street, which goes strictly north. Separated from the city center by WI-64, the area offers great opportunities for having a blast with a pup in tow! New Richmond Area Off-Leash Dog Park is tucked in the very corner of the area and lures pooches of all size and temperaments to frisk and bark in the designated area. This is a huge, fenced park with well-maintained trails, as well as plenty of open space to chase and play, benches, and some shade. Parking is also available, but you'll need to bring some drinking water and waste baggies with you.

Southeast Eau Claire

The southeastern part of Eau Claire, Wisconsin features a network of busy highways that bring in tourists and visitors from all over the States. Shopping and dining areas flourish here, as well as small local businesses offering all sorts of goods. But what about pups? Pooches are warmly welcomed at Eau Claire Off-Leash Dog Park at the end of House Road. This is a fenced, pet-friendly facility for furry friends to play off-leash and make some new canine companions! The park is very popular and welcomes lots of daily visitors, which is perfect if you want to relax in shade on the benches and let your buddy socialize.

Chippewa Crossing Boulevard Southeast

Chippewa Falls is a city located about an hour west of Roberts in Chippewa County, overlooking the waterline. If you're driving from the city center, follow the lead of Bridge Street across the river. You and Fido will want to head toward Chippewa Crossing Boulevard, where you'll find a furrific place to play off-leash! Chippewa Falls Happy Tails Dog Park is the only dog park in the city. This huge, fenced dog park dedicates over 50 acres to our furry friends! Large dogs and small breeds each have a separate section to play in. Just make sure you bring some water and waste bags along, and you and your pup are sure to have a tail-waggin' good time!

Downtown Durand

Visit Durand, the county seat of Pepin County, Wisconsin, located about an hour southeast of Roberts. Durand’s downtown overlooks Chippewa River, and is home to many waterfront restaurants and a park with beautiful views. The Chippewa River State Trail, stretching for more than 40 miles from Eau Claire to Durand, is an excellent place to hike. You and your pup will feel like Indiana Bones while exploring this labyrinth of natural paths and the variety of landscapes along the way. Hounds should be kept on a leash at all times, and don't forget to bring plenty of drinking water! Waste bags are a must, too.
