Of course, you could get a cold beer and just relax with a bowl of cheese sticks. The patio is pet-friendly, and is also completely covered so you and Fido can dine comfortably no matter the weather. Dale Road

If you don’t mind traveling the eleven miles from Saint Mary’s Point, then you will absolutely fall in love with Dale Road Dog Park. There is a handful of short -- think a mile or less -- trails for you and your pup to roam. There is an established play yard so that you can let your pup off his leash to just run and play. In the summer, there are kiddie pools set up so that the dogs can splash around. The only thing that you need to watch is that there is only a partial fence around the dog park.

Hudson

Vali-Hi Drive-In Theatre allows you to bring your entire family, including your fur babies, to enjoy a classic drive-in movie experience. You can get hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, and candy from the concession stand, or play games in the arcade while you wait for your movie to start. Of course, you could bring your own grill or pack a picnic. This wonderful place awaits your just twelve miles from Saint Mary’s Point. If you have never been to a drive-in, then you should make this you and your pup’s first adventure! It is a great time to be had by all.

Battle Creek

Battle Creek Regional Dog Park is a local favorite because it has so much to offer. There are trails to wander down. There are tree-lined areas where you can relax. You will find that the open areas are wide enough to easily play fetch. The pond is even enclosed so that your dog can swim safely while you sit back and relax. Your dog will love exploring all the different areas. It is a great place to let your dog off of his leash just for a while. This wonderful experience is only 22 miles from Saint Mary’s Point.

White Bear Lake

White Bear Lake is only 23 miles from Saint Mary’s Point, but trust us when we say White Bear Dog Beach is worth the drive. This is a nice little place for you to bring your dog to play in the shallow water. The beach is just the right size for digging and playing. You can bring your whole family to this off-leash area. Just be aware that there is a designated area for dogs to play, and you have to stay within the marked perimeters while you do so. If you are looking for the perfect place to teach your dog how to swim, then look no further!
