Suisun City is in the middle of a natural wetland area and provides a lively metropolitan area around the Suisun Slough. The city was named after the Suisun People, a Native American tribe that inhabited the area. The town's motto is "Discover The Experience," and with Fido by your side, you can discover a fun and dog-friendly experience filled with parks, trails, and 2 animal hospitals.

In the center of the city is the Waterfront Paw Park, right on the water of the Suisun Slough. The area is a wooded area, with trails and a small beach on the south side of the park that leads to the water. Dogs are not required to be on a leash, but the park is not fenced-in, and you will need to remember to bring water and clean-up bags to the park.

The Quail Glen Park is the largest park in the city, with nearly 20 acres of green space lined with trees and shrubs. Inside the park is an open green field, surrounded by a paved trail, a playground, basketball courts, restrooms, picnic tables, and a pavilion. Pups can run around and play while they remain on a leash, and have access to additional features like water fountains, benches, and trash bins.

The park is a pretty green space with views of the water, providing human and pups with features like open space, shaded sitting areas, a playground, benches, and trash bins. Although small dogs are welcome inside the park and can run around while they remain on a leash, or go for a nice walk on the park's paved path. That paved path connects to the Suisun Slough Trail, a greenway that follows along the water. The path is dog-friendly to leashed pups, made from concrete, and extends 1.5 miles around the slough.

The dog park is a beautiful open space, with trees lining the edges and a grassy field in the middle, encompassed by a paved walkway. The path is .4-miles and connects to a ball field, benches, picnic tables, and bleachers to relax on. Dogs are allowed to play off leash inside the park, but must be careful as the park is not fenced-in. Connecting to the park is Heritage Park, a place named after the neighborhood that provides an entirely forested area to play, walk, and sit. There's a playground, a paved trail, picnic tables, a basketball court, and a pavilion. Additional Fido will have access to water fountains and benches, but need to be on a leash inside this park.
