Book nowHello, I'm Stephen! I've been an avid dog lover since the moment I was born. Since then I've been sitting, boarding, and walking all the dogs that my friends have. I have experience from Australian Shepherds to little Rat Terriers, and adore all dogs of all shapes and sizes. It's been exciting getting to know all the different personalities these little guys can bring. I believe in having fun with puppers, but also demonstrating discipline with much love. It'd be a terrific pleasure to walk your dog and get to know another great thing that's a part of this world, thanks!

This off-leash, fenced park doesn't have a lot of shade, but there is water available at the park, as well as some agility equipment where your dog can play and meet with other doggos. There are benches for the human visitors and trash stations for cleaning up your pup's messes. All you need to bring is Fido's favorite frisbee!
Piedmont Pines

Redwood Regional Park is approximately 30 miles away from Pittsburg, but the short drive is well worth it. This park is a natural recreation area where dogs are allowed to explore on-leash. Or, they can roam around off-leash in the undeveloped areas of the park. All of the trails are pretty shaded, which makes this a perfect escape from the city heat. There is also a lake in the area where your dog can cool off! Exploring this beautiful piece of nature will be a great way to spend some quality time with your dog. Make sure you bring water and poop bags.
Leona Preserve
Leona Preserve
Leona Canyon Trail can be found in Leona Canyon Regional Open Space Preserve, approximately 34 miles away from Pittsburg. The trail is not very long, but the positive side is that it’s really shaded and perfect for escaping the summer heat. Make sure you bring water and waste bags with you. Oh, and be sure to watch where you step, because the area is covered with poison oak!

Markley Creek Dog Park is just 5 miles away from Pittsburg in West Antioch. The park is not very large, just 2 acres, but it offers a lot for your pooch. There are two separate areas for small and large dogs. The ground is covered in grovel so it doesn’t get muddy when it rains. There are plenty of poop bags so you won't have to worry about bringing your own. There are a number of benches available for the use of human visitors, as well as some shade. Other amenities include an open field, picnic tables, restrooms and a playground for children.
