Hi my name is Erin Hinton and I have had dogs all my life. I currently have 2 lab and golden mixes. I have been dog sitting and walking for the past 8 years. For the last 4 years I have also trained dogs as well. Working with dogs and just being around them makes me happy and feel safe. Dogs bring so much joy to a person I couldn't imagine not being around them. As an owner I do know how important it is to have a piece of mind when you are asking someone to work or walk your dog. That is the most important thing ever to know your dog is in good hands.

Hi, my name is Shelby G and I am retired law enforcement. I walk dogs in both the Sacramento region as well as the East Bay Area in Northern California. I’ve had dogs and horses most of my life. In my family, dogs are considered to be extended family: they go where we do, come into our homes and we take them to work. I have a Portuguese Water Dog named Jax. Dog walking affords me the opportunity to"have" many dogs in my life, spend time outdoors and exercise. I look forward to getting to know you and your dog.

Hi my name is Elijah, I’m 20 from Sacramento. I live in Los Angeles for school. In my lifetime I’ve had about 10 dogs in all shapes and sizes and I’ve taken care of them all by myself since I was a little kid. Unfortunately I don’t get to see the three dogs I have now at home often since I am away for school but I feel like this is a great opportunity to do something I love.

Howdy, I'm Evan! I've had a lifelong love of dogs, getting my first pup, a boston terrier/australian shepherd mix, at the age of 5. Since then I've had the pleasure of owning big dogs and little dogs of various temperaments, and trained a few to boot! I've pet-sat for friends and family many times, and I've always left those puppers just as happy and healthy as they were when the owner left. I can't wait to meet your furry friend and help them get the exercise they need and deserve!

Daisie is a small community in Yolo County, California. Unfortunately, there are not any pet-friendly places in the area. However, in the nearby Elk Grove, there are many fun places for Fido!
An exciting eatery is Original Pete's. Here, there are many options, from building your own pizza to a wide variety of sandwiches, soups, and pasta! Their outdoor seating is open to the whole family.
Dos Coyotes Border Cafe has a little taste of everything. Their menu has everything a great Mexican restaurant has to offer, including gluten-free and vegetarian options! Check out one of the many favorites: Bobby's Crispy Tacos, a Ranchero Burrito Plate or a Green Chile Enchilada Plate. You are welcome to enjoy the outdoor seating, but please go inside to place your order.
Leatherby's Family Creamery is truly a family establishment with two pet-friendly tables outside. Although they specialize in homemade ice cream, you'll also find a full lunch and dinner menu.
It's A Grind Coffee House is the perfect place to sit back and relax at. With 10+ dog-friendly tables outside, you can enjoy a nice gourmet coffee, espresso beverage, healthy cold drink, or if you're feeling hungry, an item from the home-baked foods counter.
Walk off those calories at Morse Dog Park, an off-leash, fenced-in dog run. This park also includes a mini skate park, playground, jogging trails and basketball courts.
When you want to get out and enjoy some recreational time for you and your four-footed friend, head over to Walnut Grove. About 14 miles southeast of the small community of Daisie, this neighborhood includes Delta Meadows River Park-Locke Trail. You and Fido can enjoy a jog or a leisurely walk along this 1.4 mile out-and-back path that’s part of the national Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. After exploring the Locke Trail, head over to Dr. Paul Barnes Community Park in the downtown area to relax or to meet up with friends. Your canine pal needs to be on a leash that’s no longer than 6 feet throughout this neighborhood.
The neighborhood of Franklin, located on the outskirts of Sacramento, is about 16.5 miles from Daisie. With a short drive, you can meet some friends for a little recreation and social time at Morse Community Park. Feel free to explore this 30-acre park that includes open fields, jogging/walking trails, and a fenced, off-leash dog park. Let Fido enjoy some puppy fellowship in the fenced enclosure. There are separate play areas here for large and small dogs. Pooches are welcome in other parts of the park ,provided you keep them on a leash that’s no longer than 6 feet, and you pick up their messes.
If you’re headed out to Laguna West-Lakeside for an overnight with Fido, you can find a room at the Extended Stay America just off I-5 on the west side of the neighborhood. This hotel allows up to 2 pets for an additional charge. While you’re in the area, take advantage of the pet-friendly parks. Pups are allowed in community parks provided they are kept on a leash up to six feet long. Take a stroll through Bartholomew Park, and enjoy the beautiful green space that’s bordered by the east and west side of a lake. You and your pooch can also stretch your legs at the Johnson Park Recreation Center. Give your pup a special treat with a shampoo or style at Samm’s Pet Styling just north of Town Square. Laguna West-Lakeside is about a 20-mile drive from Daisie.
If you and Fido are craving social contact with other pups and their owners, take a drive to Laguna. Just 22 miles from Daisie, you’ll find opportunities to connect with others at PetCo or PetSmart while you stock up on treats and supplies for your pooch. For some off-leash exercise for your furry friend, head north to the Jacinto Creek Park. This 11-acre park includes a large, enclosed dog park for Fido and friends to romp and play. In the dog area, you’ll find watering stations, gravel paths, open green space, and an obstacle course. After some free time, you can also leash up and walk the trails in the rest of the park.
When you’re looking for a pawtastic adventure for you and Fido, head over to Elk Grove in the southern suburbs of Sacramento. A short 22-mile drive from Daisie, this community offers a puptastic off leash dog park in Elk Grove Regional Park. With over 120 acres of land, this park has a 1.4 mile multi-use trail that winds through the park and past the scenic lake. You and your furry pal can enjoy a nice walk or jog together as long as your pup is on a leash no more than 6 feet long. To give your pooch some play time with other four footed members, head into the enclosed dog park and let your pup run free!
