located 13 miles from Galt, California and is home to the Morse Dog Park. This
is a fenced-in, off-leash dog park with separate areas for different
sized dogs. Your
pup will love the feel of the soft green grass under their paws and lounging under the shade trees here. There is also a water
faucet available that has fresh, cold water for your pooch to drink, as well as benches for pet parents to sit and watch their pups play. Jogging trails are also available if your pup is on a leash. Stop by for some pawesome

Granite Regional Park
Granite Regional Park, located 27 miles away in Sacramento, has an on-site dog park that your pup will go mutts for! This fenced, off-leash dog park encompasses 2 acres of man-made turf. There are a few trees for shade and a water fountain for thirsty pups. The parks offers waste bags and lights for if you want to visit after dark. Another great perk of this park is that there is a paved trail around the outside of the dog park, but still inside the fence, so you and your pooch could take a nice off-leash walk or jog here. Grab your walking shoes and get ready to exercise!

Jacinto Creek Dog Park is a pawtastic park located approximately 13 miles from Galt. This off-leash, fenced-in park is the pawfect place for your pup to burn some energy! Your pooch will love playing on the obstacle course and making new canine friends. There are also water spigots for your pooch to enjoy and sip from. The grass under your pup’s paws as he runs will feel amazing! You'll also find gravel paths here where you and your canine friend can take a nice stroll in nature. Keep in mind there is not much shade here, so you will want to bring extra water with you. Also, be sure to pack your doggy waste bags for easier cleanup.

This pawesome neighborhood is located 10 miles from Galt, California and is home to the Vinewood Dog Park, sometimes known as Lodi Dog Park. Your pup will love rolling around in the grass and exploring this large, fenced park. This park is well-maintained, so be sure to keep it as clean as you found it by picking up after your pup! After running around all day, your pooch will surely love napping under the shade trees here. This park is also a great place for you and your pooch to bond over a nice picnic!

If you and your pooch are looking for a great trail to hike, this neighborhood has one for you to check out! Twenty-eight miles from Galt, you'll find the Clarksburg Branch Line Trail in West Sacramento. This trail is part of the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy, which takes old rail lines and turns them in to walking and hiking trails. This trail is an easy 3.2-mile hike on a paved and crushed stone pathway. Your pooch will love sniffing out all the critters that call this trail home. You will want to pack water and doggie waste bags for your trip. Grab Fido’s leash and head out for a nice walk!
