Hi my name is Elijah, I’m 20 from Sacramento. I live in Los Angeles for school. In my lifetime I’ve had about 10 dogs in all shapes and sizes and I’ve taken care of them all by myself since I was a little kid. Unfortunately I don’t get to see the three dogs I have now at home often since I am away for school but I feel like this is a great opportunity to do something I love.

I currently have 2 dogs of my own, a loving chihuahua and jack russel mix. I have cared for many types of dogs including puppies, elderly, special needs, and amputees. I enjoy caring for pets like they are my own so if they have a favorite toy to play with I would love to incorporate that into my time with your dog.

“Teaching humans Training dogs Growing together”
Hi I’m Brittney and I’ve been working professionally with animals for 6 years. First as a veterinary assistant and then as a trainer/handler at a boarding facility. I am a husky mom so I’m no stranger to energy, pulling, and a great sense of stubbornness. I love to run so if your pup wants to go then we’ll definitely get over 3 miles in an hour. I use wag while I’m away for my pups and have been disappointed many times before so I always strive to give your dog the best experience. CPR trained

The city of Galt, California was named by John McFarland in 1869 and is located in Sacramento County. Mr. McFarland purchased 3,500 acres of land here, and when the railway came through this community, he had the privilege of naming it. McFarland invested a lot of his money and time to build this community. He built a large ranch here, which is owned and maintained by the Galt Area Historical Society. The McFarland Ranch is wonderfully preserved, and is a great place to visit to learn about history of the town and how the settlers farmed in the pioneer days.
Galt is a great place
to be if you want to be close to a lot of amenities available for dogs. It
has a few dog-friendly hotels and a veterinarian hospital which is considered a top-notch clinic. There also two Fido-friendly restaurants
located in Galt, which provide outdoor seating for
you and your pooch. The Wholey Ravioli is an Italian restaurant that serves not
only Italian cuisine, but also a variety of other foods. You can enjoy a nice
warm meal and the great atmosphere at this restaurant.

There are a few trees for shade and a water fountain for thirsty pups. The parks offers waste bags and lights for if you want to visit after dark. Another great perk of this park is that there is a paved trail around the outside of the dog park, but still inside the fence, so you and your pooch could take a nice off-leash walk or jog here. You will want to pack water and doggie waste bags for your trip. Grab Fido’s leash and head out for a nice walk!
