This trail will take you along the American River, through Old Sacramento, and past Folsom Lake. If you and Fido want to really get a good exercise in, this trail connects to the Sacramento Northern Bikeway where the two of you can hike even further together. The trail offers mile markers, trailside maps, water fountains, and restrooms, plus there are several locations where you and Fido can jump into the river to cool down.

White Rock

If Fido and you are out and about in the White Rock neighborhood and start to get a little hungry then head over to Chipotle Mexican Grill together. This pawesome eatery allows you to create burritos, tacos, salads, and bowls just the way you like it.They offer an outdoor patio where you and Fido can enjoy your delicious creation together. If you need a place to sleep, check into the Motel 6 Rancho Cordova. They welcome any size pet up to sixty pounds to join you for a good night's rest. The best thing about this motel is they don't charge any additional fees for you pup spending the night with you.

Mills Acres

Grab Fido and head out to the White Rock Community Park for a lovely day out under the sun and a great walk. The 14-acre park offers a new community center, aquatic splash park, playground, picnic pavilion with a picnic area, and an athletic field. Your pup will love running around the open grass area and getting a good game of fetch in. Besides these pawsome amenities, there are also bathrooms and benches for owners to relax on. If Fido is in need of a walk, take advantage of the great walking path that goes throughout the park.

Prospect Park

The Village Green Park is a beautiful park that features a huge outdoor amphitheater and a splash pad. Your dog will love the multi-use field and open grass space, and you'll love the restrooms, drinking fountains, picnic areas, and showers. There are plenty of trees to help provide shade for Fido, and a nice walking area where you can get a walk in. Renaissance Park is right down the street from Village Green Park and is one of the newer parks in Rancho Cordova. The park offers a picnic pavilion, playground, basketball courts, and an open grass area for your pup to frolic in. If you get a bit hungry, be sure to stop into Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill. They offers a diverse menu with appetizers, burritos, and nachos, and an awesome array of desserts, plus their outdoor patio is dog friendly.

Stone Creek

Stone Creek Park in the neighborhood of the same name is a huge 21-acre space that has tons of amenities to explore. The park offers a baseball field, basketball courts, outdoor amphitheater, playgrounds, and restrooms. Fido will love running around the multi-use fields and open grass space, plus there is a picnic area with a pavilion so that you and Fido can have a picnic. There are plenty of trees to help provide shade, and plenty of benches so for a sit down after a nice walk through the park. Fido will love visiting this beautiful park and getting a good walk in with you.
