Just like the name sounds, Park View Acres has some of the most beautiful views in the state. It is home to a number of parks and playgrounds including Rusch Park. This park is so much more than meets the eye. Beyond its gates, you will find a skate park, baseball fields, freshwater streams and many grasslands. Although this is not specifically a dog park, it contains an insane amount of amenities to keep you and your pooch excited! Many dog owners tend to go to the park early in the morning to follow one of the many park paths and make new furry friends!

Stock Ranch
Most Citrus Heights residents do not know how lucky they are. They have the 47-acre Stock Ranch Nature Preserve in their own backyards. This open space is the perfect place to spend the day with your most loyal companion. Not only are there multiple paths you can follow in the park but there is also a butterfly garden area with plenty of seating. You may want to take a leash just in case you run into other people at the preserve. Furthermore, there are not a lot of amenities for dogs and their owners so make sure you take your own snacks and plenty of water.
