Hello I'm Ariel, I have live with Animals all my life and I have to say dogs are my favorite animals! I started learning dog training when I was 12 years old before then I was reading any dog book I could find. To this day I still think it was the best class I have taken as it helped me understand my childhood dog Callisto better and has helped with many other dogs. I have lived with a taken care of dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have found that patience and listening to body language is the key to making good friends man or beast.

“Dogs are my favorite people!”

Hi there! I am committed to you and your pets receiving the best while in my care. I have been volunteering with animals for many years. I spend 2 days a week at a local animal shelter, caring for and evaluating companion animals for adoption. I have experience with many breeds and all sizes. I do not have a favorite breed, I love them all! I enjoy being outdoors and taking my own dogs for hikes around the Sierras and Foothills. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

Hi my name is Elijah, I’m 20 from Sacramento. I live in Los Angeles for school. In my lifetime I’ve had about 10 dogs in all shapes and sizes and I’ve taken care of them all by myself since I was a little kid. Unfortunately I don’t get to see the three dogs I have now at home often since I am away for school but I feel like this is a great opportunity to do something I love.

“Me and ur babies are going to have a Pawsome walk!”

Hello my name is Cliff and own a Sibarian Huskey, I love walking dogs, I treat them as like they are my own dog, but I will absolutely not walk a dog that will extremely overly pull during a walk, I say that for my safety and especially for the dogs safety for that dog can choke on leash or even worse.

Dog Walking in Citrus Heights

In Sacramento County, at about 16 miles distance from Sacramento, lies the city of Citrus Heights. More than 80,000 people call this suburban community their home. Citrus Heights, California, is a residential and working environment with a large retail and services sector. The surprisingly large amount of veterinary centers, animal stores, and other pet related facilities point towards a pet-friendly community.

Dog owners of Citrus Heights, California that do not wish to leave the comforts of their own town ought to check out the C-Bar-C Dog Park, the only off-leash dog park in the city. This dog run offers everything that you would expect from a top-class dog park, including a separate area stayed off for smaller dogs (think Pomeranians, Dachshunds, and others), benches and picnic tables, pools and plenty of trees for shade.

For avid dog fans that want variety, there is a total of four off-leash dog parks in Roseville, which is only a few miles from Citrus Heights, California: Maidu Dog Park, Bear Dog Park at Mahany Park, William "Bill" Hughes Dog Park and Marco Dog Park. All of these dog parks are fenced and offer at least all the basics and often more.

The most favorite place in town for the owners in Citrus Heights is the Java Cherry Coffee Shop. Enjoy a nice cup or mug of hot coffee with a tasty pastry on the front patio with your furry pal by your side.

Most Citrus Heights residents do not know how lucky they are. They have the 47-acre Stock Ranch Nature Preserve in their own backyards. This open space is the perfect place to spend the day with your most loyal companion. Not only are there multiple paths you can follow in the park but there is also a butterfly garden area with plenty of seating. You may want to take a leash just in case you run into other people at the preserve. Furthermore, there are not a lot of amenities for dogs and their owners so make sure you take your own snacks and plenty of water.

Tempo

The best place to take your dog for some fresh air and exercise is Tempo Park. Tempo Park is home to large grassy areas exposed to the shining sun and covered areas with picnic tables for hot or rainy days. There is also a fair number of BBQ pits and picnic tables if you want to invite some friends and cook your own dinner. Unfortunately, if you see other people, you may want to put your dog on a leash as it is not primarily a dog park. Avoid the afternoon rush by going to the park early in the morning.
