Dog walking in Lathrop

S Manthey Rd/ Lathrop Rd

Take Fido out to the Lathrop Dog Park for some off leash socialization and exploration. The park features two sections, one for large dogs and one for small. There is a mixture of dirt and grass for your dog to run around on, as well as a small walking trail for you two to enjoy. With numerous waste area stations for you to grab clean-up bags at, benches for owners to sit on, doggie water fountains, and agility equipment for the more active dogs, this park has got it all! There isn't a ton of shade here, so make sure to watch your pup as it can get hot.

S Harlan Rd / Warren Ave

Grab Fido and head out to the Woodfield Park for a great day out under the sun. The park features plenty of trees for shade plus a huge grass area that Fido can run around to help release some energy. The park also offers restrooms, basketball courts, and a playground. It is open from dawn until dusk, giving you both enough time to explore. The Green Belt Park is next door to Woodfield Park, and offers a nice walking trail and tons of grass for Fido to sniff and play on. Make sure to bring some clean-up bags with you. 

Slate Street

Your pup will love exploring the Apolinar Sangalang Park with you. This puptastic spot features a playground, picnic tables, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, and restrooms. There is tons of grass for Fido to run on, and a nice walking trail throughout and around it that your pup can get a good walk. The park is open from dawn until dusk, giving you plenty of time to get your walk in and maybe have a picnic. Don't forget water and clean-up bags when you come to hang out at the Apolinar Sanagalang Park.

Downtown Lathrop

The Manuel Valverde Park offers a ton of great amenities for you and your pup to enjoy together. The park has multiple sports facilities, a rose garden, a play area, a veterans memorial, and a concession stand. There are benches for owners to relax on, and if you want to have a picnic, the park offers covered picnic areas. Your pup will love the walking trail that goes throughout the park, plus all the grass that she can roll and play fetch on with you. There are tons of trees to help keep everyone shaded, but make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you.

Central manteca

Less then five miles out of Lathrop in the nerby town of Manteca is the Manteca Dog Park. This new dog park is a pawsome park to let your furry pal run around, sniff some new smells, and meet some new friends. The dog park is separated into two areas, one for large dogs and one for small. There is also a ton of shade provided by the huge trees in the park, plenty of grass to run on, and benches for owners. If you forget your clean-up bags, the park offers them, as well as agility equipment in both parks for active dogs. There are even doggie water fountains here to help keep your pup hydrated, and a double gate to keep everyone secure, making this park simply pawrific!
