Dog Areas in Discovery Bay

2 Parks

Discovery Bay is a pupperific town in Contra Costa County, California located sixty miles away from San Fransisco. It is considered part of the San Fransisco Bay Area. There are so many parks and green spaces to choose from that your dog will be all tail wags when he sees his leash come out! You will need to keep your dog on a leash when exploring the many parks and bays that pepper the area.

Cornell Park is pawfect for a quick game of fetch or a picnic. Sand Bay is a pupperific spot for a scenic walk at sunrise before work if you have time. Lido Bay is another amazing place with a fantastic view for you and your dog to enjoy. Slifer Park is another wonderful park where you can take your pup for a tail-wagging weekend adventure to make up for all that time away at work during the week.

There is one animal hospital in Discovery Bay and several more in the surrounding towns. This makes finding an amazing veterinarian pretty easy no matter what your dog's needs are. Veterinarians in the area recommend microchipping your pet due to the large number of animals that live in this amazingly pet-friendly city.
