It is a beautiful place for a walk outside — the neighborhood and community are very welcoming. The highlight of this neighborhood is Miami Springs Bark Park. This is an off-leash dog park that has a great deal to offer. There are benches for you to sit on and rest your legs while your dog enjoys some playtime, and there are separate areas for large and small dogs. The park is right by Miami Springs High School, so you can’t miss it!

North Country Club Estates
The area surrounding Southwest Canal Street and Westward Drive marks the north side of the Country Club Estates neighborhood. While visiting this neighborhood, consider taking a walk along the Miami River that forms the area’s eastern border — you will find yourself surrounded by a friendly cityscape and lots of activity. This also is a great neighborhood to check out if you and your furry friend are looking for some fantastic food! Burritoville is a great choice for hearty Mexican cuisine. Country Club Estates
The south side of Miami springs is located around the Miami Springs Golf & Country Club and South Side Canal. It is a beautiful neighborhood and a great area to explore on foot: there are lots of open green areas but also plenty of activity. And it is definitely a neighborhood you’ll want to visit if you’ve worked up an appetite! There are some great dining options in this part of Miami Springs, such as Bryson’s Pub, an Irish-themed pub that serves American classics like burgers and wings. You’ll find dog-friendly seating outside on the patio, and it's also a great place to sit and enjoy the mild Miami weather while watching planes take off and land at the nearby airport!

East Doral
The town of Doral hugs up against Miami Springs' western border, and it is definitely worth stopping by with your dog. There are many scenic lakes and ponds throughout the area, such as Osprey Lake near 41st Street. Doral Central Park also has a lake in the center, and the park is 82 acres, making it a great place for an outdoor adventure! Leashed dogs are more than welcome at both parks. There are also a few dining options in East Doral that have dog-friendly outdoor seating. Sushi Runner offers fantastic sushi and other Asian specialties. Canine customers must be leashed and well-behaved.

West Hialeah (West)
Hialeah lies just to the north of Miami Springs on the opposite side of the Miami River. It is a very dog-welcoming community, and if you’re traveling through with a furry friend, you’ll find lots of fun things to do! There are a number of parks in the neighborhood that welcome leashed dogs. Walker Park on 29th Street is one such park, and Coston Park is nearby on the south side of town. Goodlet Park to the north is the largest of the three and includes basketball courts and even a dance studio.
