Dog Areas in Perry, GA

Perry, GA a small town with a lot of Southern charm, is home to the Georgia National Fair. It’s a great place to visit for a quiet getaway or to rest on your way up or down I-75.  While there are 17 hotels in town, there aren’t very many restaurants that are pet-friendly; however, you may find yourself dining on the patio. In the event of any emergencies, there is also a local vet. If you are spending some time in the area and need a few more options, a short drive to the nearby town of Warner Robins brings a larger selection of options that welcome you and your furry friend!

One attraction that happens every year in Perry is the Dogwood Festival. Held in April, it features arts and crafts, lots of vendors, and the Ultimate Air Dog show! If you are looking for a place to take a quiet walk together, Rozar Park is also located in Perry and welcomes you and your dog; just don’t forget the leash here. If you are looking for an off-leash park, you’ll find options in both Macon and Warner Robins.

All in all, Perry is a small, quiet town. It offers a few options to ensure that Fido isn’t left out, but for more dog-friendly fun, you will need to look to the surrounding areas.
