Cental Lawai is an amazing place to be a pup if you and your dog love to be by the water. The Hanini Reservoir is a large area surrounded by some walking trails where you and your leashed pup are welcome to explore and enjoy the view of the water together on a nice, clear day. If you plan on walking the paths, be sure to bring some clean-up bags, and try to leave the trails as spotless as they were before you. The Lawai Stream runs right through the middle of town and offers a sight for sore eyes if you and your pup love a good game of splash and sniff on a hot day!

Poipu

Poipu is a small community in the larger area of Koloa where you will find Poipu Beach. This dog friendly beach has plenty of appeal for you and your pup if you are both looking to get in plenty of exercise and sun together. You will want to bring a beach towel and a good leash for your trip to Poipu Beach. The beach can get a little busy during peak tourism season, so be ready to share the sand and give your dog a little space if he gets overwhelmed or startled easily when meeting new people and pups.
