My name is Brittany. I am an active young adult living in the Southwest Boise. I grew up with all different kinds of dogs. My best friend was my Dalmatian, Lucy, which I had from two months old til I was fifteen. I have been the one in my family who loves to interact and play with dogs. I am currently a proud owner of a miniature Aussie. I love walking around the neighborhood and/or hiking with my dog. I have been walking dogs since 2017. I am studying to get I to veterinary.

Dog Walking in Garden City

Tucked into the Boise River floodplain lies the pet-friendly and lushly forested neighborhoods of Garden City, Idaho. Garden City is technically part of Boise but retains its own municipality. Plenty of streams — jettying off the Boise River — carry salmon and steelhead trout, making the area great for fishing. The origins of the city tell stories of seasonal encampments of Native Americans before the explorers and trappers migrated to the land. A group of 11 prospectors found an impressive amount of placer gold in the mountains of the Boise Basin. Since then, many have flocked to Garden City to live within a thriving, amiable paradise.

Pet owners love living in Garden City. There are 9 veterinarians, a pet groomer — with dozens more in the surrounding Boise area — and 2 pet shops here! Living in Garden City, you'll have quick access to anything you could ever need to keep your dog's tail wagging! The "outdoorsy" types have their pick of the 11 well-maintained parks within the city. Also, there are two hiking trails — The Pole House Short Loop & Seamans Gulch Dry Creek Loop — which start at two different parks within Garden City. After a day outdoors, you and Fido can head to one of the 5 pet-friendly restaurants right here in the city limits! Grab the leash and head out!
