My name is Brittany. I am an active young adult living in the Southwest Boise. I grew up with all different kinds of dogs. My best friend was my Dalmatian, Lucy, which I had from two months old til I was fifteen. I have been the one in my family who loves to interact and play with dogs. I am currently a proud owner of a miniature Aussie. I love walking around the neighborhood and/or hiking with my dog. I have been walking dogs since 2017. I am studying to get I to veterinary.

Hi! I have a lot of experience with all sorts of dogs! As a teen, I volunteered at my local humane society where I encountered many breeds and types of dog behavior. Later, I adopted my own small dog and was a dog-sitter for another one for many years. I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon!

I love animals! In jr high I became vegetarian hoping to help save cows & pigs. My first job was working for a pet groomer. I learned about the different breeds that came in for grooming. I also worked for a boarding company and learned how to care for animals with different needs ranging from special diets to medical attention. When you can't be there to walk your dog, or your schedule for the day is just too full, I hope you will think of me when you need the best care for your fur baby!

“From Graduate school to Dog Walking!”

I’ve spent 1 year learning the world of professional pet care. It happened by accident - I got a chance to go back to school, not only to earn a master’s degree but to play volleyball. Unfortunately, I finished my degree injured and struggling mentally. Enter dog walking! I thought I would just try it out...turns out it helped me heal: movement, nature and a friendly companion. Then it dawned on me, growing up with all kinds of animals from fish to horses - I was built for this!! Yay pet care!

Safety first; I sanitize my hands before and after each walk. I've been a dog walker with Wag for about a year now and it's been such a great experience! I absolutely love it! Every walk brings joy to my day.

I’ve loved animals my whole life and look forward to meeting more dogs! I have a lot of experience in training and caring for animals, and have worked with all kinds of dogs. I’ve been a walker for a while now and am employed at Club K9, a boarding facility. I rescued my border collie mix from a shelter 12 years ago and he’s my best friend. I understand how important our dogs are to us and will make sure your pup is looked after :)

“I can’t wait to walk your dog!”

I have grown up with dogs all my life. I have had two dogs during my lifetime, Jasper and Summer. With some help from my parents and siblings, I fed and walked my dogs daily. I got the "dog care" merit badge when I was a boy scout. I love all animals, but dogs have a special spot in my heart.

Dog Walking in Middleton

Middleton is a midsized city in Canyon County. Settled in the mid-19th century, it was the midpoint between Boise and Keeney’s Ferry. Folks traveling between the two locations often stopped in Middleton for a rest. Nowadays, Middleton is a family friendly town where it’s not uncommon to see barns, corrals, and livestock. If your pooch prefers rural living to the hustle and bustle of the city, then the rolling hills and fields of Middleton will be a welcome treat. This pawsome place even has its own veterinary clinic.

Next time your doggo needs a walk, grab the leash and head over to Centennial Grove. This patch of grass is the perfect spot to let your pup stretch their four legs. It’s not very big, but it does have access to the Middleton Bike Path. After your pooch is finished sniffing around the park, hop on this scenic trail. It cuts through town and leads you past fields and pastures right to the banks of the Boise River. If the current is mellow, let your pal dip their paws in to cool off. You can either cross the pedestrian bridge and continue your walk, or turn back and call it a day.

Make no mistake, your dog will love spending time in Middleton!

Nestled on the banks of the Boise River, it includes a Wilderness Park with a nature trail. Your pal can connect with Mother Nature as they wander through the trees and listen to the birds and water. Dogs must be leashed when in the park, but don’t let that deter you. Fido will have a great time wading in the river, hunting for the perfect stick, or sniffing through the trees.
