Morton Grove is a large village in Illinois that was named after the former Vice President of the United States, Levi Parsons Morton. The headquarters of the famous fraternity Alpha Delta Phi are located in this village. You can find this place in the southern region of Lake Forest, and it offers two fenced areas for training and small pooches. Another pawtastic advantage that this park has to offer is the pond, where doggies can cool off and splash on those hot summer days. If you prefer not to let your dog swim, you won't have to worry, because the pond is fenced off separately from the rest of the park.
Just six miles away from Morton Grove, you can find another pawesome fenced park where your pooch will have a ball! Beck Lake Dog Park also offers 44 acres of off-leash freedom. In this park, you can find multiple trails that you can explore with your pooch, and along the way, the trees will provide enough shade so you can enjoy the park even in the heat. There is even a pond where your pooch can swim! In case you want to train your pooch, there are special enclosed areas dedicated to training. Water fountains can be found throughout the park, but don't forget to bring poop bags. You'll need to obtain a permit for the park before visiting.

This park can be found around 9.5 miles from Morton Grove, in Chicago's Ravenswood district. Here, you can find plenty of sporting activities, doggie and kid amenities, and so much more! Dogs have to be leashed officially, but it's common practice for doggie pawrents to let their pups off-leash to explore the park. This dog-friendly and family-friendly park is pretty spacious, and your dog will meet pawlenty of new friends since a lot of doggos visit this place!
