Hi, I'm Bil! I have lived in the DC/Metro area all my life, and I grew at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains with an incredible Yellow Lab named Lucky. Over the years I have worked with various animal shelters, fostering and rescue programs, and currently I am the proud father of 2 extraordinary rescue pups - Ted, a 5 yr old Pit/Boxer mix, and Dae, a 2 yr old German Shepherd. I enjoy meeting new dogs and learning all of their unique characteristics and personality traits. Your dogs happiness, safety and comfort are my first priority. I will give your dog the care and attention they deserve, and provide a pleasant (and fun) experience for them!

Hi, I'm Demetrius! What can I say, I LOVE DOGS...I mean I love all animals but dogs are just the top! I've had dogs my entire life, from little fluffy white dogs to muscle bound pit-bulls. My most recent, an English Bulldog named Hollywood, unfortunately passed after 11 amazing years and I'm without a pooch for the moment. I hope you allow me the pleasure of taking care of your important family member while you are at work or away and I will treat him or her as if they were my own!

I grew up with dogs. I currently have two little fur babies of my own whom I love to death. When I was in highschool I took care of the neighborhood pets for income. While in grad school in California I was employed by a petsitting program through our student union. I’ve been around animals all my life and I’m very familiar and confident in handling all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.

I love animals and especially dogs! I grew up with a beagle and have been walking dogs for neighbors and family friends since I was in middle school. I have also done pet sitting where I stayed at an owner's house and was completely responsible for their pet's care while they were away. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you and your dog are satisfied!

Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood or taking a trip to the dog park, I'm always looking forward to my walks. I have experience with walking 50 different breeds of all sizes, and it's a pleasure meeting new pups. The more the merrier. The time I get to spend with a dog, young or not so young, small or not so small, makes the day that much better.

Hillcrest Heights is a medium-sized town on the border of Maryland and the District of Columbia. There’s a veterinarian just 4 minutes from the center of town, so you can rest easy knowing that your pup will be in good hands here.
Unfortunately, there are not many other dog-friendly places within the town of Hillcrest Heights, but around 10 miles away in Alexandria, VA, you’ll find many adventures for the whole family!
The Lost Dog Cafe in Alexandria is a good place to enjoy one of 50 gourmet sandwiches and contribute to a good cause -- the Lost Dog and Cat Foundation, to be exact -- at the same time! This eatery has dog-friendly outdoor seating. If you’re feeling more adventurous, check out the award winning Bastille! Their specialty is French cuisine and they have outdoor seating where dogs are welcome.
Duke Street Dog Park is a large, fenced-in, off-leash park that has sections for both large and small dogs. The area is grassy, but has no water fountains, so bring your own water.
If you feel like indulging your inner sweet tooth, check out The Dairy Godmother. Not only do they have a wide variety of ice creams and custards for you, but they also have puppy pops!
Looking to learn some history? Look no further than Mount Vernon! Your canine companion can accompany you as you visit George Washington's tomb, the stables, the gardens, and dozens of other outdoor places. Pets are not allowed in historical buildings and must be leashed at all times.
Looking for a trail? Mount Vernon Trail could just be it. This trail is made up of asphalt and boardwalk and is 18 miles. Dogs must be leashed on this trail.
Whether you’re looking to hike, eat, or explore with your pup, you’ll never be far from dog-friendly fun in Hillcrest Heights!
The Southeast Washington neighborhood is conveniently located along the Potomac River and is accessible from Interstate 295! Fort Dupont Park Trail is a multi-purpose pathway that is an excellent place to walk your dog; it offers scenic views and an extensive walking path you both can explore together. Fort Circle Park also provides a nice area with walking paths and open grass areas where you can walk your on-leash pup! If you’re travelling to the Southeast Washington area and need dog accommodations that cater to dogs, local Airbnb rentals have you covered.
This family-friendly residential community is easily accessible and runs along Interstate 495 and the MD 5. Henson Creek Park provides hiking, bike trails, in-line skating, and paved walkways with plenty of trees to offer shade. You and your pawesome pal can also enjoy gorgeous views of the Henson Creek. The park welcomes on-leash dogs to roam the property and get some exercise and vitamin D with their human parents! The Henson Creek Trail that runs through the park is part of the popular Rails-to-Trails project that reutilized rundown railways into the multi-use trails they are today, making it the perfect place to walk your pup!
Six miles northeast from Hillcrest Heights, Walker Mill offers convenient access to Interstate 495 and Central Avenue. Walker Mill Regional Park is a large 470-acre park that provides some fun amenities like sports fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, and hiking trails! On-leash dogs are more than welcome to accompany their owners in all areas of the park. National Harmony Memorial Park, and Peppermill Village Community Center Park are other nearby park that allow leashed dogs to take advantage of their walking paths and open spaces!
Alexandria is a large, dog-friendly city that is only a short 7 miles away from Hillcrest Heights! This fun city has everything a dog owner could ever want: dining, lodging, events and outdoor recreation. Windmill Hill Park is an off-leash dog; however, it is not fenced-in and therefore it is recommended you closely supervise your fur baby. Dog Run Park at Carlyle welcomes pups to play off leash in a fenced-in park that offers two areas; one for large dogs and one for small dogs. For some fun on the water, Potomac Riverboat Company allows dogs to tag along for the ride and enjoy a boat cruise around the Alexandria Seaport!
The Northeast Washington neighborhood in D.C is very close to Hillcrest Heights; in fact, it is only 11 miles away, despite being in a different state! This community truly has so much to offer dog parents, including plenty of dining, lodging, and recreation. The U.S. National Arboretum is a breathtaking, national botanical garden, complete with beautiful concrete pillars known as the Capitol Columns; they encourage on-leash dogs and their owners to take in the views and make use of the scenic walking paths in the nation’s capital! Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens and Kingman Heritage Island both allow leashed dogs to walk the premises and take in some of the local history.
