    Altamont Place is a residential neighborhood just north of Central North East and Westover. This neighborhood is quiet and tranquil. This makes it ideal for dog lovers and dog walkers who want a pretty neighborhood for walking and exploring after work or early on a Saturday morning, without a lot of fuss or traffic to worry about. You will need to keep your dog on a leash in Altamont Place, but he won’t even notice as you make your way past manicured lawns and bright, snifferific gardens that are pawfect for inspecting more closely! This neighborhood rests on the tip of the bay and offers a lovely view of the Chesapeake.  Elk Neck State Park is just minutes away, where the north east river opens up.
