The town is just minutes from the town of North East, and the two share many resources, including recreational centers. There are no animal hospitals in the town of Rising Sun, but there is one as you continue on toward North East and several more along Pulaski Highway toward the Maryland/Delaware border. You will find plenty of parks and forest trails as you drive to the north toward the Maryland/Pennsylvania border.

Triangle Dog Park and Trails is a popular destination in Rising Sun for dog lovers. You will see plenty of dogs enjoying some off-leash fun with their humans throughout this fenced-in park. Dog lovers can be found here in droves on nice days, watching their pups make new friends and enjoying some time with other pupperific people.
