Arbor Pointe

The neighborhood of Arbor Pointe is a pupful community for you and Fido to investigate. Get out to Arbor Pointe Park and walk or jog on the paved pathway. Hike past the lake and fields with your pooch to get your exercise. You can extend your outing by following the trail east from this facility to connect with the trail in Sleepy Hollow Park. Here, you'll be able to loop around the small lake, open fields, and a playground. Dogs are welcome to join you in the parks and on the trails, provided you keep them on a leash up to six feet long and pick up their waste.

Emerald Hills Village

The neighborhood of Emerald Hills Village, on the west side of Inver Grove Heights, is a lovely place to go with your pooch. There are about five parks nearby where you and your furry friend can get some fresh air. Head over to Marianna Ranch Trails on Alvarez Ave and explore this 64-acre facility. Hike or jog along the 9,681 feet of paved trails that wind through wooded stands and around quiet residential areas. Remember to keep your canine companion on a leash that's up to six feet long while in the park. Make sure you clean up your pup's messes.

Salem Hills

Take Fido to Salem Hills Park in the neighborhood of Salem Hills. With 41 acres of land and 2,151 feet of paved trails, you and your pup will have plenty of space to investigate in this puptastic facility. Wander around the ball fields and playground or head into the wooded areas with your special pal. This park joins with Harmon Park Reserve on its north border. Here, you'll find an additional set of nature trails that wander through fields and wooded areas. Bring your pup on a leash up to six feet long and hike through this beautiful facility.  Remember to pick up after your canine pal.

River Road

Take Fido to the east side of Inver Grove Heights and investigate the parks in the River Road neighborhood. Here, you and your pal can head down to River Heights Park. Walk the trail that loops around the open field to get a little fresh air. On the north end of this neighborhood, you and your pup can hop on the trail that starts at Old City Hall Park and heads out to the Old Rock Island Swing Bridge. Walk out over the Mississippi River and enjoy the scenic views. Make sure you keep your pooch restrained by a leash up to six feet long while you're visiting area parks and trails.

69th - 70th St E

The 69th - 70th St E neighborhood features a puptacular park for you and Fido to explore. You can walk or jog the trails that wind through North Valley Park with your pup. Meander past the small pond and through the wooded areas, or catch a game at one of the softball or soccer fields. This 58-acre green space includes picnic tables and a grill where you and your pooch can share a meal in the great outdoors. Remember to keep your four-footed friend on a retractable leash or a tether that's up to six feet long and to pick up any waste.
