Should you and Fido find yourselves in the northwestern edge of town, stop by Innisfree Park to stretch your legs. Deriving its name from the Irish word meaning “Heather Island,” this 56-acre park is frequented by strollers and families thanks to its walking trails and playground. Innisfree Park also comprises hills and lakes, making it a good spot to catch a glimpse of the area wildlife. There are no eateries within walking distance of the park, so pack some snacks and treats to munch on under the picnic shelters. Get out and get some fresh air with Fido at Innisfree Park!

Meadows of Bloomfield

Named after the residential development it is located in, Meadows Park is a quiet, 26-acre park that's just a stone's throw from the fire station. Follow the paved walking trails past the playground equipment and athletic fields, and you and your pooch will come to a large, natural pond at the back of the park. Enjoy a leisurely, leashed stroll with relaxing views of the water. If you need to sit down for a while, the park has two picnic shelters where you can rest and share a packed lunch with Fido.
