With 16 acres dedicated to canines, the Dakota Woods Dog Park offers more than enough space for your best friend to walk, run, play, and socialize. This fenced-in, off-leash dog park features a 3-acre open field, while the rest of the site is composed of mixed woods. Wide, woodchipped walking trails meander around the park, allowing your pup to explore the area freely. Doggie waste bags are provided along the trails, but you will need to bring your own water. Note that a pass is required to use the Dakota Woods Dog Park; daily and annual passes may be purchased online through the Dakota County Parks website.

Named after the residential development it is located in, Meadows Park is a quiet, 26-acre park that's just a stone's throw from the fire station. Follow the paved walking trails past the playground equipment and athletic fields, and you and your pooch will come to a large, natural pond at the back of the park.
