Ramsey Boulevard
Treat your pooch to some off-leash fun at the Alpine Dog Park! Located in the center of Alpine Park between the baseball fields, this fenced-in bark park is about half open field and half natural area. Paved and nature trails meander around the site, making it easy for curious doggos to go exploring in the tall grass and wooded section. To keep tired and thirsty pups hydrated, a pet fountain and water bowls are provided. There are also several picnic tables scattered around the park for the dog parents to sit at, plus a heated shelter to keep visitors warm during the winter months.

Saint Francis Boulevard - Highway 47
This neighborhood on the northeast side of town offers two parks where you and Fido can get some exercise. Set between residences, Fox Park is a minimally developed property with a playground and tennis court. A single paved walkway runs through the park, which is mostly open space. Elmcrest Park, located about 1.5 miles away, is a busier site that regularly hosts soccer games and community events. Walking trails weave around the soccer fields and wooded areas, which include small waterfalls. Picnic tables are available on-site, so you have spots to relax and enjoy a packed lunch with your pooch.

Bunker Lake Boulevard
Emerald Pond Park is a furrific place to spend a beautiful afternoon with your four-legged pal. Go for a leashed stroll on the half-mile trail surrounding the pond, and sit back on one of the bench swings to take in the scenery. If you and Fido head into the woods, you'll find a small fire pit and barbeque area. There's also a waste bag dispenser and dog drinking fountain at this pooch-friendly park. Another nice spot for walkies is Flintwood Park, which is less than a mile away. Also known as the Flintwood Terrace, this park features a mile-long walking trail, a large playground, two picnic shelters, and multiple picnic tables.

Green Valley
Tucked in the northeast corner of Ramsey, the Rum River Central Regional Park is a must-visit for people and puppers who love spending time outdoors. This scenic and natural site on the Rum River spans 434 acres and comprises woodland, river, and prairie environments. Explore the park with your best pal by following the paved and dirt trails—Fido will definitely get a kick out of all the different sights and smells! Remember to stay on the right side of the trail and keep your pup under control at all times. Bring bug spray, too, as some visitors say there are mosquitoes along the way.

Symphony at Town Center
Fun and picturesque, The Draw is a great place to hang out with the entire family, including members with four legs. This park has water features, walking paths, and an amphitheater that hosts outdoor concerts during the summer. Take a leashed stroll with your pup on the paved trails, which stretch over a mile long; stop by the west side of the park to admire the waterfall; and let Fido roll around in the grassy open space next to the amphitheater. Bring a lawn chair on concert nights, so you can sit back and enjoy the show with your doggo at your feet.
