Lake Orono Estates
In less than ten minutes, you and your dog can drive to the southwestern corner of Elk River, Minnesota and you'll arrive at the Lake Orono Off-Leash Dog Park. This beautiful lakeside dog park is part of Orono Park, a 28-acre family-friendly park with playgrounds, sports fields, a swimming beach, picnic facilities, and a paved trail. The dog park is a large, fenced space for dogs of all sizes to interact, and it includes a bright red fire hydrant, water fountains, waste disposal supplies, and seating. Your dog can also join you on the trail and many other areas of Orono Park if they're on a leash.36

Northeast Maple Grove
If you and your dog drive 20 minutes southeast of Otsego, you'll come to the Elm Creek Reserve Dog Park in northeastern Maple Grove, Minnesota. This 29-acre off-leash park has a section where dogs of all sizes can play, as well as a separate section just for small or frail pets. There's also a fenced wetland pond if your dog would like to take a dip, so be sure to bring a towel for drying them off. You'll also want to bring drinking water for your pet, but the park provides waste disposal supplies. A daily or annual pass is required to visit this dog park.24

Villas at Chasewood
Eden Prairie is a city just southwest of downtown Minneapolis, and the northeastern corner of the city is a half-hour drive from Otsego. That's where you'll find the Bryant Lake Regional Park, a 170-acre park with wetlands, grasslands, rolling hills, a disc golf course, a beach, and a dog park. The Bryant Lake Regional Dog Park takes up nearly ten acres of the park, and it includes separate sections for big and small dogs. You'll also find covered seating areas, drinking water for dogs, waste disposal supplies, and restrooms. Your dog can join you in most other areas of the park (including the trails) when they're on a leash.12

Staring Lake Village
In just over half an hour, you and Sparky can drive to the Staring Lake Dog Park for an afternoon of fun! This off-leash park is located in south-central Eden Prairie, and it's open from mid-March to December when it closes for cross-country skiing. There are 5.7 acres of open fields, wooded areas, and walking trails to explore with your dog. Staring Lake Dog Park has a double-gated entry system, and there's an all dog area in addition to a separate small dog area. You'll also find water fountains for dogs, picnic tables, and waste disposal supplies. Your dog can join you trails surrounding the park when they're on a leash.
