The puptown of Stoutsville is only five miles north of Florida. Here you will find Stoutsville Recreation Area where your pooch can roam and burn some excitable energy. This pawsome place has lots of sniff-tastic trails you can follow through the woodlands. Your pup will love to investigate all of the new scents and sights of nature, and you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just be sure to bring some fresh water and trees for your canine, as you will be out in the wilderness with no facilities nearby.

Monroe City
For a pawsome day out with your furry friend, jump in the car and head 12 miles to Monroe City! Here you will find the puptastic Indian Creek Recreation Area where your canine can bound around in nature. There are some sniff-tastic trails here that you can explore, as well as some furrific amenities. This includes playground equipment, a boat launch, pavilions and camping facilities. There is a day pass needed to enter Indian Creek Recreation Area, but it is worth every penny to see your pooch have a ball! In addition, there are fees for camping, both tent and RV.

Paris
Around 14 miles west of Florida, you will find the pawsome puptown of Paris! This is where you want to come when your stomach starts to growl since it is home to the Stooges Restaurant. This is a puptastic place that is dog friendly and you can get your paws into some good American grub. There are sandwiches, burgers and lots of other tasty options on their men, as well as live music you can listen to. Of course, there are also outdoor tables here where you can relax with your furry friend and enjoy your meal in the fresh air – bone-a-petit!

Mexico
For a road trip with your canine, head on over 15 miles from Florida to the puptown of Mexico! Here you will find the furrific White Conservation Area where you can enjoy some outdoor exploring with your furry friend. There are some sniff-tastic trails for tails here through the woodlands and lots of animals that you can spot. You can also go fishing here, with catfish, crappie and sunfish found at White Conservation Area. What’s more, you can also camp under the stars and enjoy the serenity of nature. Just be sure to bring some fresh water for your panting pup when you visit White Conservation Area.
Holliday
For an adventure with your beloved companion, head 20 miles to the puptown of Holliday! Here you will find the pawsome Willingham Memorial Wildlife Area where your furry friend can have a ball. You can go exploring the woodlands here and there are sniff-tastic trails for tails that you can follow for some fun exercise. In addition, there is the oppawtunity to camp here. In addition, you can hunt for turkey, deer and squirrel at Willingham Memorial Wildlife Area, so be sure to check the season. In your bag, pack some water, treats and waste bags for your canine!
