Troutman Rails to Tails is just the right place to walk your dog. The trail walks you through the business district right where the old trail line used to be. The Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has worked hard to preserve this historic site by paving it in asphalt and giving it back to the city, repurposed and beautiful. You will need to keep your dog on his leash while you are playing here. There are also no water fountains, so please remember to bring your water bottle and dish for your pup. And don't forget those doggie waste bags; no one likes a litterbug!

Only twelve miles away, you'll a pet-friendly place like no other. Ike's Dog Pub offers you a place to bring your dog while you drink a beer. If you have your dog on a leash, you can even bring him inside with you while you enjoy your favorite craft beer and enjoy the big game. If your prefer, you can sit outside and let him play in the dog run while you kick back and relax. You can choose from your favorite brew or try one of their house brews. This is the place to bring your friends, even your fur ones, because everyone will have a great time here!

Ramsey Park

Want to let your furry friend off their leash so they can run and romp to their heart's content? Swaney Park at Ramsey Creek Park is the pawfect place to go. There is plenty of room to run and play with other dogs in this 4-acre park. You can sit back on the bench and enjoy the company of other pet owners while your dog plays. There is running water for you to use. The best part is that the water is up on a platform to ensure it doesn't get muddy or gross any digging dogs! The park also provides poop bags and a disposal system. All you need to do is bring Fido's favorite toy, hop in the car, and head 15 minutes from Mount Ulla.

Would you like to spend game day with your fur buddy and your boys at the bar? Well, you're in luck! Lucky Dog Bark and Brew is a sports bar that allows your fur buddy join you for that big game. If your dog doesn't mind the crowd, the cheering, and watching you sip on craft brews, then grab his leash and come on down. You could share a plate of nachos, wings, or chili fries. Of course, they have burgers as well. While you are here, they can get off their leash and play. They have a groomer and spa on hand as well! Grab an outdoor table with your fur baby to get a great view of the water. The atmosphere is relaxing and calming, and the food is delicious. What more could you ask for? You can even get a craft brew if you want something to sip on. Fido won't feel left out, though; they pet bowls available. The patio often has one or two fur friends for you to meet, too.
