The trail will take you through the valley and along a creek where Fido can jump in and splash around. The hike is covered by trees, so you don't have to worry about getting too hot along the way. If you and your dog are searching for a little longer of a hike to complete, check out the Bradley Nature Preserve. The trail found here is 1.5-miles in length with an out-and-back route type. Be aware that dogs are not allowed on the lower part of the trail, so keep an eye out for signs. Besides apple picking and picnicking, you're allowed to wander the grounds and check out the ponds, bamboo forest, and barnyards that surround the orchard.
