Greater Saluda
If you and your furry friend are in the need of some delicious food, check out the Green River BBQ. The Green River BBQ offers tasty chicken, beef, ribs, and smoked turkey, which Fido will be dying to try. If you're looking for a cute quaint eatery, head over to Ward's Grill. This restaurant serves an array of American style foods, including pancakes, french toast, pulled pork, corndogs, and more. Both of these great eateries have dog friendly patios and welcomes Fido to join you for a tasty meal. These two restaurants are exactly what you and your pup are craving after a great day out.36

Macedonia Road
Grab Fido and take a great hike at the Saluda Nature Park. The pawsome hiking trail here is 1.1-miles long with an out-and-back route. Known to be moderate to strenuous, you may want to take it easy on this trail if you're new to hiking. The trail will take you through the valley and along a creek where Fido can jump in and splash around. The hike is covered by trees, so you don't have to worry about getting too hot along the way. Remember to bring plenty of water for you and Fido, and don't forget your clean-up bags.24

Mountain Vista
If you and your dog are searching for a little longer of a hike to complete, check out the Bradley Nature Preserve. The trail found here is 1.5-miles in length with an out-and-back route type. This hike is made for anybody since it is pretty easy to complete, and the distance isn't too long. The trail runs through the woods of the Bradley Nature Preserve. Be aware that dogs are not allowed on the lower part of the trail, so keep an eye out for signs. Make sure to keep Fido on a leash, and don't forget your water and clean-up bags as you'll be hard pressed to find them here.12

Long Ridge
Go explore the mountains with Fido on the Pulliam Creek Trail. This dogtastic trail is 6.5-miles long and takes about 3 hours to complete. Your dog needs to remain on leash while hiking as it is populated with hunters during half the year. The hike is moderately difficult with a few inclines, but they aren't too steep.The hike will take you right past a river where Fido cna jump in and cool off. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you while you visit the Pulliam Creek Trail.
