Franklin Park
Just over 11 miles from Cedar Mountain, North Carolina is the Franklin Park neighborhood of Brevard. This rural area sits near the Great Smoky Mountains and offers the pawfect location for you and your dog to enjoy the great outdoors. The area has two fun trails that are dog-friendly, so bring your pooch, your walking boots, and some doggie clean-up bags and get ready to explore! The Cat Gap Loop is five miles long and winds through natural streams. Coontree Loop Trail is a bit shorter, around 3.7 miles, but has plenty of beautiful nature features to see no matter what season you happen to visit.
