I’ve been in love with dogs my whole life, and I’ve rescued quite a few. I’ve gotten to be very good at calming and distracting dogs who get a little bit nervous or unsteady with others or their surroundings. I do my best to know the moves a dog might make before they make them, along with sensing their mood in certain situations so that I’ll always be ready for anything. The most important thing is to know that both you & your best friend can always feel secure in knowing they are safe with me.

I have a huge love and passion for animals and animal welfare which started about 5 years ago when a tiny stray kitten took a 30 mile ride in the hood of my car. She was not hurt and I fell in love with her and kept her. She changed everything about my life. My focus became all about animals and led me to my love of volunteering (highlighted below). I am also compassionate, patient, loyal and reliable.• Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals – volunteer with the dogs and cats• Walk rescue dogs housed at Yellow Brick Road Doggie Daycare in El Segundo• Pet Orphans Van Nuys – walked and played with the dogs and played with the cats• Bark Avenue Foundation – they provide food, supplies and medical treatment to the pets of Los Angeles’ homeless population and they have helped me take care of the six dogs of a homeless man I met, I provide food and water and flea collars for the dogs• Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid

Hello! My name is Jerri. I am a 24-year-old grad student at Boston Conservatory. Growing up, I have always been surrounded by many different animals. Every summer I help my aunt with her farm and take care of her different animals, like horses, cows, ducks, chicken, cats, and dogs. So, I am very comfortable with any/all types of animals. When I'm not visiting my aunt I do some dog sitting and walking, along with taking care of my own cat, Chloe. Now that I'm in Boston, I am very excited to start dog-walking again!

I have been a dog lover and owner my entire life. Happily, I am currently the owner of a Dachshund named Rosa and a Border Collie cross puppy named Mia. I have also had a large mutt as my best friend, and currently own a delightful rescue cat named Charlotte. Nothing in my life makes me as happy as sharing time with them, except being with my 18 month old godchild! I love Nature, am an avid gardener, and birdwatcher. Every dog I walk I cherish as if my own for however long we are together.

Dog Walking in Eastlake

Eastlake is a city in Lake County, Ohio, situated on the banks of Lake Erie, 19 miles northeast of Cleveland. It is a pawriffic place to stay a while with your pup, with many pup-friendly parks and attractions to explore. There aren’t any vet clinics in Eastlake itself, but neighboring Mentor, Willoughby, and Willowick have your pup medical needs covered with three vet clinics and four animal hospitals between them.

The Eastlake Dog Park at Woodland Park is a great place to start, where your pup can take the opportunity to run free of the lead and socialize with like-minded pooches. Featuring a double-gated entry and full perimeter fencing for safety, your dog will adore the space as much as you. There are some toys and agility equipment provided, as well as a ‘mutt mitt’ dispenser for clean-up jobs. Take a seat at the benches and tables while you supervise and get to know other pup parents in town. Once your dog is thoroughly exhausted, grab the lead and take a gentle stroll around Woodland Park together before heading off on your next adventure. There is ample parking at Woodland Park, restrooms, sports fields and picnic areas.

Central Park in Eastlake offers a lovely open green space to come for a play and a walk with your four-legged friend. There is paved walking track through the grounds where you can both get a little exercise, or bring your pet’s favorite ball for a game of catch.

Eastlake Garden Park is in the north east of the town and another pleasant little green space for an outing with your pup. This park has a playground, basketball court, and tennis court for the kids to use.

There are plenty more things to do in and around Eastlake – you and your pooch are sure to enjoy your stay!
