This leash-free frolic spot is a great place for Fido to enjoy some mutt mingling, and there are a few shaded picnic tables for two-legged friends to chill out on. This grassy park provides your pooch with ample space to run around and is the perfect place to visit if you’re looking for hours of furry fun. Puppy poop packaging isn’t provided, so don’t forget to bring bags when you’re planning a trip. There is no water fountain in this dog park, so bring some water if you want to keep your hound hydrated!

If you leave the darling dog park on Glen Dr. in search of even more pupperific places to go, then you’d be barking mad to skip Deer Run Park! Revered for its roaming room, this park is frequented by many devoted dogs and owners looking to do some leashed laps in the area. Deer Run Park boasts sports fields, picnic areas, and lush grass as far as the eye can see! This open space is pawfect for stretching legs as there’s a short, paved path to follow and plenty of trees dotted about to help keep your canine cool. Pack poop bags for your visit to help keep this park pristine!

Mohican State Park
The mighty Mohican State Park is a mutts-visit for any outdoors-obsessed doggos as there are endless oppawtunities for adventure here. The state park covers 1,100 acres on its own, and then the fantastical forest surrounding it has a whopping 4,525-acres to explore. Located in one of Ohio’s most revered regions, this nature-filled area has some breathtaking scenery. The gorgeous Clear-Fork Gorge can’t be missed, so take the tough 24-mile trail looping around it to get great views while you tire out your tyke. There are also seven shorter trails to choose from, and each of these picture-perfect paths welcomes dogs as long as they’re leashed.

The small town of Loudonville is a charming place known as the camping and canoeing capital of Ohio. This adventurous area provides you and your four-legged favorite with a wonderful walking trail called The Loudonville Pedestrian and Bicycle Pathway. This terrific track runs through a vibrant valley that encourages you to "paws" and admire its magnificence. It covers 1.5 miles and has a well-kept asphalt path. Beginning in Downtown Loudonville, this pathway takes a beautiful bridge over Blackfork River, moves through tree-lined trails, and brings you back to the Mohican State Park area. Keep Fido on a leash while you explore, and don’t forget water and waste bags!
Freet St
Head to Freet Street in nearby Dalton and you’ll find Village Green Park. You’d be barking mad to miss out on this park because it’s here that you’ll find the start of the splendid Sippo Valley Trail. This spectacular stroll follows Sippo Creek and crosses many bridges. This path suits the fittest of furry friends as it covers 10 miles and changes terrain throughout -- make sure you're prepared for the challenge! The Sippo Valley Trail finishes on Tremont Avenue in Massillon, and here, you have the option of joining the 80-mile Ohio and Erie Towpath Canal Trail if you’re looking to extend your pawesome adventure!
