Prospect Avenue
This neighborhood is home to Paradise Valley Park, a great place to take your dog for an on-leash walk. This beautiful park has a walking path that’s about a half-mile long. This path will take you through open fields where your pup can roll around in the bright green grass. The path also takes you past a historic windmill and along the Maidford River. After your walk, you and your dog can sit and relax in Paradise Valley Park’s scenic gazebo. Bring water and doggy bags for your pup, and have a fun time exploring this scenic park.

Memorial Boulevard
If you’re looking for a stunning place to take your dog for an on-leash walk, head to Cliff Walk. Located two miles from Newport East, this 3.5-mile concrete path will take you along craggy cliffs and past beautiful mansions. You’ll also get amazing views of Easton Bay as you walk along the path. You and your dog will both have a puptastic time exploring this trail! If all that walking makes you hungry, head over to Diego’s. This Mexican restaurant allows dogs at their outdoor tables, and they’ll bring your pup a bowl of water. Both areas have fenced-in fields with plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and there are also trees to keep the park cool on hot days. If your pup gets thirsty, water is available in the park. After the dog park, treat yourself and your dog to a sweet snack at Del’s Frozen Lemonade. This casual eatery welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables, and they serve frozen lemonade in a wide variety of flavors.
