I m so sorry that you had to try to pick her up. She has not left Dog and she should have gotten outside. Next time maybe I can have you grab some treats from the pet cabinet to lure her out. Is my first day back to work and she s kind of throwing a fit. Earlier today she pooped all over the living room.

This neighborhood is home to Paradise Valley Park, a great place to take your dog for an on-leash walk. This beautiful park has a walking path that’s about a half-mile long. This path will take you through open fields where your pup can roll around in the bright green grass. The path also takes you past a historic windmill and along the Maidford River. After your walk, you and your dog can sit and relax in Paradise Valley Park’s scenic gazebo. Bring water and doggy bags for your pup, and have a fun time exploring this scenic park.

If you’re looking for a stunning place to take your dog for an on-leash walk, head to Cliff Walk. Located two miles from Newport East, this 3.5-mile concrete path will take you along craggy cliffs and past beautiful mansions. You’ll also get amazing views of Easton Bay as you walk along the path. You and your dog will both have a puptastic time exploring this trail! If all that walking makes you hungry, head over to Diego’s. This Mexican restaurant allows dogs at their outdoor tables, and they’ll bring your pup a bowl of water. As your dog enjoys their water, you can dine on classic Mexican fare, including tostadas, tacos, burritos, and enchiladas.

Looking for a fun off-leash park for your dog? Head to Joe Silva Dog Park, which is 19 miles from Newport East. This dog park offers separate fenced-in areas for big and small dogs to play in. Both areas feature large fields, and they also have agility equipment, including hurdles, to jump over. Bring water with you, and have a great time playing here! After the dog park, continue your fun day out with lunch at McGovern’s Family Restaurant. Sit at one of their dog-friendly outdoor tables, and enjoy delicious seafood, steaks, burgers, pasta dishes, and more.

Fort Adams State Park

If you’re looking for a fun place to spend the day with your dog, Fort Adams State Park is perfect for you! This historic state park is six miles from Newport East, and it welcomes dogs on-leash. While you’re here, you and your dog can go for walks around the park’s historic fort and barracks. You can also go for runs with your dog on the park’s huge lawn. There’s also a beach where you can take your pup for on-leash strolls along the water. Doggy bags are provided throughout the park, but be sure to bring some water with you. Your pup will always have a pawsitively amazing time here!

Peace Dale is home to South Kingstown Dog Park, a great off-leash dog run. Located 18 miles from Newport East, this dog park has two separate areas: one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas have fenced-in fields with plenty of space for dogs to run and play, and there are also trees to keep the park cool on hot days. If your pup gets thirsty, water is available in the park. After the dog park, treat yourself and your dog to a sweet snack at Del’s Frozen Lemonade. This casual eatery welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables, and they serve frozen lemonade in a wide variety of flavors.
